Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because one of the grades is an entry grade of category C that allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: Baccalaureate to bac+2 in computing
The profile they look for:
- Good skills in Windows, Linux and office software.
- Knowledge of information systems security.
- Interest in free and open source software.
- Ability to analyse and diagnose problems.
- Rigour, method and a sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- The IT department has 3 staff, including one apprentice.
- Category B post, without management duties.
- The post is vacant from 1 December 2026.
- A contract agent's contract cannot exceed one year, renewable up to 2 years in total.
