Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAC+2, or BAC with significant experience; training in maintenance, mechanics, electronics, electrical engineering or automation
Experience: Confirmed experience
The profile they look for:
- BAC+2, or BAC with significant professional experience.
- Training in maintenance, mechanics, electronics, electrical engineering or automation required.
- Automation knowledge appreciated.
- Public service values, rigorous and able to work on your own.
- Good manual skills and team spirit.
- Driving licence category B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Full-time job with on-call technical duty on a rota.
- Electrical authorisation and leptospirosis vaccination required.
- Work in unhealthy environments and possible heavy lifting.
