Civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents can apply. The open grades are agent de maîtrise, technicien and technicien principal 1st or 2nd class.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
The profile they look for:
- Carry out a technical diagnosis and propose a work programme.
- Read and use technical documents and plans.
- Know structural mechanics and technical standards.
- Use a database and geographic information (GIS).
- Know workplace safety rules and road works signage rules.
- Find the cause of breakdowns and faults in an installation.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
