Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly for this category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experienced level.
The profile they look for:
- Good knowledge of fire safety rules for public buildings.
- Knowledge of safety committees and legal checks.
- Experience following legal requirements for buildings.
- Proven technical skills in building work.
- Organisation skills, autonomy and a public service mindset.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
