Civil servants and contract workers can apply. The post is open to the grades of Technicien, Technicien principal 2nd class and Technicien principal 1st class.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: Bac +2 diploma specialised in building
The profile they look for:
- Bac +2 diploma with a specialisation in building.
- Solid knowledge of building techniques and technical installations.
- Knowledge of rules on public buildings, accessibility, indoor air, radon and public contracts.
- Word and Excel skills essential; Outlook is a plus.
- Method, rigour and ability to coordinate varied partners.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Driving licence B required to travel between the different sites in the area.
- Category B post.
- The post may be filled by a contract worker while waiting for a civil servant.
