Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. The post is open at the technician grade of the territorial civil service.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: BTS or DUT in building or civil engineering
The profile they look for:
- BTS or DUT in building or civil engineering (bac + 2).
- Technical knowledge of buildings and architecture.
- Skill with CAD software such as Autocad or Archicad.
- Ability to create and manage construction and renovation projects.
- Good communication, organisation and rigour.
- Team spirit and ability to handle tense situations.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 14 (Closes in 16 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your cover letter and CV by post to the town hall's Human Resources department. State the exact job title.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
