Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know the safety and politeness rules.
- Be able to keep order and calm.
- Answer children's simple questions.
- Have patience and good contact with children.
- Inform parents when action is needed.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C job.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Job vacant from 9 November 2026.
- Supervision job during the lunch break (after-school time).
