Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly for this category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know locksmith, welding and metal assembly techniques.
- Apply safety rules and health standards.
- Read and interpret an execution plan.
- Use hand tools and power tools.
- Team spirit, autonomy and initiative.
- Driving licence B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 12 (Closes in 45 days)
Apply on the employer's website, linked from the official offer. You can also send your CV and cover letter by email or by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence B required.
- Must be available for town events and overtime work.
- Wearing work clothes and protective equipment is mandatory.
- May be asked to help other teams at the Municipal Technical Centre.
