Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experienced candidate requested.
The profile they look for:
- Work on your own when doing jobs.
- Follow health and safety rules.
- Be able to read and understand a plan.
- Know the standards and techniques of your trade.
- Work in a team and report on the work done.
- Have good manual skills and a sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website linked from the official offer. You can also send your application by email to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence B required and licence C appreciated.
- On-call duty included.
- Category C, no remote work possible.
