Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The post is open at category C grades (adjoint technique, agent de maîtrise), so a person who has not passed a competition can be hired directly.

Diploma: Level V diploma in locksmithing and metalwork
The profile they look for:
- Level V diploma in locksmithing and metalwork.
- Knowledge of electric and gas welding, TIG/MIG.
- Ability to read an execution plan.
- Ability to manage the supply of materials.
- Driving licence category B.
- Good team spirit.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- You may be asked to work weekends, public holidays or outside normal hours.
- On-call duties and duty shifts are possible.
- CACES certificates for aerial platform and forklift are preferred.
- Mobile scaffolding authorisation is optional.
