Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, as the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP vocational diploma
Experience: Significant experience in collective catering required
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of the food needs of older people
- Knowledge and practice of the HACCP method
- Knowledge of hygiene rules in catering
- Good people skills and a taste for teamwork
- Able to work on your own and take initiative, within the chain of command
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 15:30, with one Saturday in two worked.
- 25 days of annual leave + 2 extra days (under conditions).
- Job based in Melun.
- Remote work not possible.
