Civil servants and contract agents can apply. You do not need to have passed a competitive exam, because an entry-level category C grade allows direct hiring.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- In-depth knowledge of the HACCP method
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and premises hygiene rules
- Skill in using cleaning machines and equipment
- Organisation and rigour
- Good teamwork skills
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C (employee).
- The job is open to several grades in the territorial civil service: adjoint technique, agent de maîtrise and their senior grades.
- The job is vacant from 01/12/2026.
- A contract agent's contract is tied to waiting for a civil servant to be recruited (article L332-14 of the code général de la fonction publique).
