Civil servants and contract workers can apply. The job is open to the grades of engineer, principal engineer and senior engineer. A contract worker can be hired if no civil servant has applied.

Diploma: Technical degree at bac+5 level, or be a territorial engineer
The profile they look for:
- Be a territorial engineer or hold a technical degree at bac+5 level.
- Know water and sewer network infrastructure and equipment.
- Know VRD techniques and the basics of urban hydraulics.
- Be able to steer, monitor, control and assess activities.
- Be able to communicate, negotiate and work in a team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
