Civil servants in the grades of Adjoint technique principal 1st or 2nd class, Agent de maîtrise or Agent de maîtrise principal can apply. A contract worker can be hired while waiting for a civil servant.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Solid technical knowledge of roads.
- Strong knowledge of safety rules on work sites.
- Knowledge of local day-to-day team management.
- Ability to organise a team and manage time.
- Ability to give clear and practical instructions.
- Good people skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- CACES R482 certificate required.
- Irregular hours and regular outdoor work in all weather.
- Category C post, vacant from 01/01/2027.
