Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff. Posts open at the rédacteur, rédacteur principal 2nd class and rédacteur principal 1st class grades. A contract worker can only be hired if no civil servant application has succeeded.

- Knowledge of how a local authority works.
- Knowledge of payroll and variable pay elements.
- Knowledge of budget management and project follow-up.
- Ability to lead and bring together a team.
- Rigour, discretion and good organisation.
- Public service mindset and availability (decision-making on-call duty).
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
