Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the post is open to an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Spot problems in a building and assess maintenance work
- Run projects on technical, administrative and budget matters
- Check contractors' work against the terms of the contract
- Know safety rules and the regulations for public buildings (ERP)
- Organise your work by priorities and tight deadlines
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: October 31 (Closes in 2 days)
Send your application by post, with a handwritten cover letter and a CV, to the town hall address given in the offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- 36-hour week over 5 days, with 6 days of RTT leave
- Remote work not possible
- Driving licence B and CACES required; licence C preferred
- Post vacant from 4 January 2027
