Civil servants (titulaires) and contract workers can apply. A contract worker may be hired if no civil servant applies. Grades: assistant de conservation (principal 1st or 2nd class).
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: Bac+2 or Bac+3, ideally in libraries, documentation, culture or book trades
Experience: Experienced: successful work in a media library or cultural venue
The profile they look for:
- Bac+2 or Bac+3 degree, ideally in libraries, documentation or culture.
- Successful experience in a media library or cultural venue.
- Skills in library techniques and library software.
- Organised, rigorous and independent, able to run a venue.
- Excellent people skills to lead a team and volunteers.
- Knowledge of local government and public reading services.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
