Civil servants in the grades of Attaché, Attaché principal, Rédacteur or Rédacteur principal de 2e classe, and contract staff. A contract worker can be hired if no civil servant application succeeds.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: Bac +2 to Bac +5 in public accounting, finance, management or local government administration
Experience: Experienced. Significant experience in local public finance (M49) required; water and sanitation experience welcome; management experience a plus.
The profile they look for:
- Master local public accounting and the M49 budget and accounting rules.
- Know how SPIC and EPIC bodies work.
- Know how water and sanitation services are financed.
- Prepare and monitor a budget, and carry out financial analysis.
- Manage a team and produce dashboards.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Job vacant from 1 February 2027.
- Category B job with management duties.
