Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it. People recognised as disabled workers can also apply through a contract.

The profile they look for:
- Master first-level maintenance techniques in several trades
- Know health and safety rules and how to apply them
- Know how to organise and lead a team
- Know technical standards and stock management rules
- Be able to write technical sheets, schedules and reports
- Be organised, rigorous, independent and able to handle stress
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
