The profile they look for:
- Technical and regulatory knowledge of urban planning and development.
- Skills in managing and organising a department.
- Knowledge of how local authorities work.
- Rigour, sense of priorities and ability to report back.
- Analytical and summary skills, good listening and people skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
