Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. The post is open to the grades of technicien, technicien principal 1st class and technicien principal 2nd class.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: Bac level at least
Experience: Significant experience in similar work is preferred
The profile they look for:
- Bac level at least, and significant experience in similar work.
- Good knowledge of local government and basic building rules.
- Leadership, team cohesion and running meetings.
- Good knowledge of safety rules linked to the work.
- Good skills with common office software.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work possible.
- Driving licence B required; pool vehicle for trips to outside sites.
- On-call duty for the department's buildings.
- Up to 49 days of leave and RTT combined.
