The profile they look for:
- Good knowledge of local public accounting (M57 and M4).
- Knowledge of local finances (budget, local taxes, grants).
- Advanced Excel and finance software.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Rigour, good organisation and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work across departments.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
