Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A contract worker can only be hired if no civil servant application has succeeded.

Diploma: Higher education in management, project management, organisation management or regional development, or equivalent experience
The profile they look for:
- Master project management methods and tools.
- Good knowledge of how local authorities work.
- Track the budget and finances of projects.
- Build dashboards and analyse complex problems.
- Lead meetings, working groups and project teams.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
