The job is reserved for civil servants and winners of a territorial exam, and only for permanent municipal police officers who have completed their FIA. Officially recognised disabled workers may, as an exception, apply through a contract.

- Handle conflicts and mediation skills.
- Have a sense of public service and good physical fitness.
- Show rigour, autonomy and a team spirit.
- Report clearly to superiors, in writing and orally.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website or on the official offer page. The file can also be sent by post to the Pulnoy town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible.
- Management role: one trainee officer to supervise.
- Open grades: Brigadier-chef principal and head of municipal police service grades.
- Weapons handling training required.
