- Knowledge of illnesses, professional care tasks and common care tools.
- Able to analyse and report clearly, orally and in writing.
- Able to apply safe handling and mobility techniques for people.
- Good people skills, respect for patients and confidentiality.
- Able to organise work, and to work alone or in a team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
