Open to civil servants and to contract staff. A contract worker can be hired if no civil servant application has succeeded.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: BTS or DUT (with 3 years of experience), or professional bachelor or BUT (without experience)
Experience: Experienced; at least 3 years if BTS or DUT
The profile they look for:
- BTS or DUT level with at least 3 years of experience
- Or professional bachelor or BUT with no experience
- Good knowledge of rules for road works
- Interest in managing and maintaining roads and their equipment
- Good people skills and a strong sense of organisation
- Driving licence category B required
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- You join the senior manager on-call rota.
- Work cycles of 36 hours with fixed hours, 6 RTT days and 25 days of paid leave.
- Driving licence B required; AIPR designer and supervisor certification is a plus.
