Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The open grades are assistant de conservation and assistant de conservation principal (2nd or 1st class). A contract worker can only be hired if no civil servant has applied.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: University and library training (e.g. CAFB, DUT or DEUST in book professions), or otherwise significant public library experience.
Experience: Significant public library experience if no relevant training. A similar job would be a plus.

- Knowledge of audiences and cultural and school partners.

- Good sense of organisation, teamwork and networking.
- Commitment to public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
