- Good organisation, independence and rigour.
- Enjoys teamwork and takes initiative.
- Good interpersonal and writing skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence (permis B) essential.
- Irregular, sometimes split hours, depending on public service needs.
- Full-time on an annual basis: 33.5 hours a week in school term, 43 hours a week during holidays.
- Remote work not possible.
