Civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents can apply. The post is open to the grade of agent de maîtrise. A contract agent can be hired if no civil servant application succeeded.

Diploma: Baccalauréat (high school diploma) desired, not required
Experience: Woodwork experience desired; experience in local government appreciated

- Knowledge of buildings, roads, public spaces and equipment.
- Good knowledge of workplace health and safety rules and ERP rules.
- Rigour, organisation skills and planning ability.
- Proven management skills and a wish to develop the team.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work across departments.
- Driving licence (permis B) essential.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 6 (Closes in 9 days)
You can apply on the employer's website. You can also send your CV and handwritten letter to the town hall by post, stating the job reference number.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence (permis B) essential for regular travel across the commune.
- Electrical safety certification (habilitation électrique) requested.
- Annualised working time, with summer and winter hours.
- On-call technical duties and availability depending on emergencies.
