Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The post is open at the adjoint technique grade (category C), and a person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BTS minimum
Experience: At least 5 years of experience
The profile they look for:
- BTS minimum with at least 5 years of experience.
- Technical and regulatory knowledge of buildings, roads and green spaces.
- Driving licence category B required.
- Electrical safety certification and CACES.
- Office software skills (Office pack, Outlook).
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send your application by post or by email to the town hall, addressed to the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence category B required.
- Electrical safety certification and CACES required.
- Work at height and about 40% of time on site.
