Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. The post is open to the grades of senior technical assistant first class, supervisor, senior supervisor and technician.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: BTS or DUT (building, public works, civil engineering) or professional licence (construction, technical services management).
Experience: Solid, experienced level.
The profile they look for:
- Solid experience in technical work and team management.
- Technical and regulatory knowledge in buildings, roads and green spaces.
- Rigour, coordination and organisation skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and report to the authority.
- Good communication skills, team spirit and diplomacy.
- Good physical fitness required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Management role, 35 hours over 4.5 days. No remote work.
- Driving licence B required, PL licence preferred.
- Required certificates: electrical BS-BE, vehicles R482 and R486 B, first aid SST.
- Physically demanding job: noise, lifting loads, hazardous products, emergency call-outs.
