Civil servants can apply, in the grades of agent de maîtrise or technicien. If none apply, contract staff can also apply, and people recognised as disabled workers can get the job by contract.

Diploma: DUT/BUT or BTS in civil engineering, or an equivalent qualification
Experience: Confirmed experience
The profile they look for:
- Management skills and good team organisation.
- Knowledge of buildings, roads and green spaces.
- Knowledge of safety rules for public buildings (ERP) and prevention.
- Ability to run projects, analyse and summarise.
- Driving licence B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
