Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who did not pass a public competition can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Technical and regulatory knowledge of buildings, roads and green spaces.
- Knowledge of public lighting, urban planning and waste management.
- Analysis and diagnosis methods.
- Asset management strategy.
- Knowledge of the rules governing public technical policies.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Position vacant from 1 January 2027.
- The proposed contract cannot exceed three years, renewable up to six years.
