Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A contract worker can be hired when no civil servant application has succeeded.
Category: Category B (intermediate)

The profile they look for:
- Plan and monitor the activities of a technical department.
- Lead, motivate and manage a multi-skilled team.
- Check technical, regulatory and safety compliance of works and equipment.
- Manage budgets, orders and stock.
- Work with the general manager, elected officials and outside partners.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category B job with team management.
- Remote work not possible.
- Post open at the Technicien grade.
- A contract worker's contract cannot exceed 3 years, renewable up to 6 years in total.
