Category: Category B (intermediate)
Experience: Experienced candidates.
The profile they look for:
- Technical and regulatory knowledge: buildings, roads, green spaces, street cleaning.
- Knowledge of public lighting, urban planning and waste.
- Analysis and diagnosis methods.
- Property and asset strategy.
- Knowledge of the challenges and rules of public technical policies.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
