The profile they look for:
- In-depth knowledge of building trades and site follow-up
- Knowledge of safety rules for public buildings and workplace health and safety
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Ability to manage a maintenance budget
- Knowledge of public procurement and public bodies
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
