Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service competitive exam can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BPJEPS or equivalent
The profile they look for:
- Hold a BPJEPS or an equivalent qualification.
- Know the rules for collective childcare for minors.
- Know the children and families who use collective childcare.
- Be able to make decisions, delegate and report back.
- Have good management skills and enjoy team work.
- Use computer tools well.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply online through the employer's recruitment website. You can also send your application by post to the President of the Communauté de communes.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
