Civil servants and non-civil servants can apply, with no competitive exam needed for the entry category C grade. People recognised as disabled workers can also be hired on a contract.

Diploma: CAP or BEP in collective catering or food trades
The profile they look for:
- CAP or BEP diploma in catering, or work experience in catering.
- Apply food hygiene and food safety rules.
- Identify children's nutritional needs, with an educational attitude.
- Pass on instructions, check activity and report back.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
