Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Minimum CAP, ideally in building trades (painting, electricity, carpentry, plumbing...)
Experience: Experienced (several years in the building sector)
The profile they look for:
- Minimum CAP, ideally in building trades, or several years of experience.
- Car driving licence (permis VL) required.
- Fire safety training is a plus.
- Organised, methodical and rigorous.
- Good ability to analyse risky situations.
- Works well in a team and alone, with quick reactions and initiative.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.

- Post vacant from 1 January 2027.
- Category C, adjoint technique grades for teaching establishments.
