Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A contract worker can be hired only if no civil servant application succeeds, and an entry grade in category C allows direct hiring without a competitive exam.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Building trades experience wanted, preferably electrical work.
The profile they look for:
- Electrical authorisation, or ability to train for it.
- Driving licence category B.
- Experience in building trades, preferably electrical work.
- Skill with cleaning equipment and hygiene and safety rules.
- Independence, teamwork, method and rigour.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Hours: Monday to Friday 7:15 to 16:30, Wednesday 6:30 to 14:00, which may change.
- Possible replacements at other schools in the area.
- Driving licence category B required.
