Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff. The grades open are adjoint technique and adjoint technique principal de 2e classe. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly.

Diploma: CAP agent de restauration or equivalent
The profile they look for:
- CAP agent de restauration or equivalent.
- Know hygiene rules and the HACCP method.
- Know children's nutritional needs.
- Be able to manage a team and difficult situations.
- Be organised, methodical and patient.
- Be able to work as part of a team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
