Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service exam can be hired, because the post is open to an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Proven experience in public accounting and local government.
The profile they look for:
- Know public accounting and budget rules well.
- Know the M14, M52, M71, M4 and M61 accounting directives.
- Know the public procurement code well.
- Design and manage financial dashboards.
- Lead a team and work independently.
- Be rigorous and write well.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
