Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service exam can be hired, because an entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Experience: Experienced candidate.

- Master catering techniques, products and equipment.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and environmental rules.
- Excellent people skills.
- Recognised skills in leading and motivating a team.
- Help colleagues across the different services.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm, with one evening per week.
- Category B post with team management.
- People recognised as disabled workers can also apply by contract.
