Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the post is at an entry grade of category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAFD, BPJEPS or equivalent level
Experience: Beginners accepted
The profile they look for:
- BAFD, BPJEPS or equivalent level required.
- Knowledge of the needs of different age groups.
- Knowledge of the law on childcare centres.
- Good command of various activity techniques.
- Good skills in Word and Excel.
- Rigour, good communication and teamwork.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
