Civil servants and contract workers can apply. The post is open to the technician grades: technicien, principal technician 2nd class and principal technician 1st class.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Experience: Confirmed experience with animals, required.
The profile they look for:
- Required experience with animals.
- Ability to manage a team and pass on information.
- Thorough knowledge of the rules for pounds and shelters.
- Knowledge of health protocols for animal reception facilities.
- Certificate of fitness to keep a categorised dog.
- Good computer skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 8 (Closes in 8 days)

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
