Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because one of the grades offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Expert level requested.
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of live performance techniques (sound, lighting, video).
- Knowledge of ERP (public building) safety regulations.
- Reading and writing technical sheets.
- Using sound and lighting consoles.
- Public service mindset, autonomy, organisation and rigour.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time post, 36 hours a week on an annualised basis.
- Evening and weekend hours, with frequent travel.
- Driving licence (category B) required.
- Remote work not possible. Post vacant from 1 January 2027.
