Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted.
The profile they look for:
- Good command of office software (Word, Excel, music software).
- Ability to organise work around goals, deadlines and constraints.
- Good team spirit and cooperation skills.
- Good relations with pupils and their parents.
- Able to propose projects for the conservatory.
- Keeps up with professional developments.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 4 (Closes in 7 days)

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible.
- No management role.
- Category C post, vacant from 4 November 2026.
