The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of children's physical and psychological development.
- Good command of hygiene, safety and emergency first-aid rules.
- Basic knowledge of disabilities.
- Good people skills, a public service mindset and rigour.
- Able to report back and work as part of a team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 14 (Closes in 13 days)
Applications are only accepted by post, addressed to the mairie's Human Resources department. The address is given in the official offer on Choisir le Service Public.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Management role: you supervise the ATSEM staff.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Grade stated: agent de maîtrise (category C).
