Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is a category C entry grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of safety rules on work sites
- Knowledge of technical rules for roads and public lighting
- Ability to write reports and do reporting
- Good people skills, diplomacy and discretion
- Basic training in VRD or public lighting
- Driving licence category B
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C job, adjoint technique grades.
- Social benefits subject to conditions: 18 days of RTT leave, meal vouchers, 516 € gross bonus in June and November.
