1 Check the conditions You are here
Civil servants (by transfer or secondment) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experienced (confirmed level).
The profile they look for:
- Good knowledge of cleaning products and cleaning machines.
- Strict respect of health and safety rules.
- Wearing work clothes and personal protective equipment is required.
- Teamwork skills and ability to lead a group.
- Autonomy, sense of priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Driving licence category B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 17 (Closes in 18 days)
Send your CV and cover letter by post to the town hall, or by email to the town's recruitment service, as stated in the official offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Working hours vary with the needs of the service, based on 37 hours per week.
- Remote work is not possible.
- 25 days of annual leave, 2 split-leave days and 11 RTT days.
- Contribution to supplementary health insurance and a Compte Épargne Temps (time savings account).
